NEW FEATURE
We’re excited to introduce the new Compliance Center, giving Owners a dedicated place to create, publish, monitor, archive, and manage compliance policies. You can define the target audience, connect a required learning path, set due dates, and track all related learner assignments in a central assignments view with statuses, filters, and due-date information.Learners now see their active compliance assignments directly on Home in “Your Agenda” and on their profile, with clear due-date badges and reminders via email and in-app notifications. Organization Owners can also adjust compliance reminder settings in the new Notifications tab, helping teams stay on top of mandatory requirements with less manual follow-up.
NEW FEATURE
Admins can now reset a learner’s progress for non-adaptive learning paths, allowing users to start fresh when content has changed, a training needs to be repeated, or progress should be renewed for compliance reasons. Learners are informed when their progress is reset and can begin the learning path again from the start. To keep everything transparent, we’ve also added a new “Past activities” view for learning paths. Learners, managers, and admins with the right permissions can now review key lifecycle events such as when a path was started, completed, reset, or certified — directly from learning path details, user profiles, and the learners list.
IMPROVEMENT
Users can now refine their search with new filters, including Categories, and Online vs. Offline vs. Hybrid formats. Additionally, a Date filter offers more precise event planning by allowing selections such as "Next 7 days" and "Next 90 days". Same also on the admin side! This feature empowers users with greater control over their learning journey by making it easier to find suitable training measures.NEW FEATURE
We know, sometimes you’re not sure if a training is worth scheduling, if there is enough demand or you’re still not sure when exactly it will happen. This is why we're excited to introduce a brand new module to gather interest for certain trainings from your learners before actually having to schedule a specific event. Admins can now create an “Event Proposal”, fill out all the details they already know (e.g. title, description) and leave others open (e.g. the specific date & time). Learners can then explore these proposals and submit their interest together with an optional comment. Admins can track the interest list, schedule the event once they’re ready, and inform participants that they can now make a binding booking. This enhancement empowers learners to make confident choices and engage more effectively with event opportunities.NEW FEATURE
Similar to how you know it from events, you can now also add (and communicate) costs of whole learning journeys to your participants. This enhancement empowers admins to manage financial aspects of learning journeys. You can decide whether these costs should be visible to learners, so that learners can make informed decisions based on their training budgets. Furthermore, we’ve added a separate analytics dashboard for learning journeys to allow you too track these costs transparently.NEW FEATURE
We’re happy to introduce our brand-new "Budget & Costs" dashboard, now easily accessible under the "Learning Analytics" section of the app. As we now also offer cost tracking for entities other than events (e.g. for learning journeys), moving the overall cost & budget management into a dedicated section instead of hiding it under the “Events” dashboard only made sense.NEW FEATURE
Another helpful addition to our Analytics area: the new Skill Taxonomy Dashboard. Now, organizations can effortlessly download their Skill Taxonomy as raw data in XLS/XLSX/CSV formats without needing backend support. This first iteration presents a straightforward table view, with future enhancements to include aggregations and additional metrics.NEW FEATURE
If you’re using the project experience feature on edyoucated to track your employee’s experience, this new dashboard provides two helpful comprehensive views: a master list and individual project experience entries, making it easier than ever to download and evaluate the project data you and your users have added on efdyoucated. You can find it under the Skill Analytics section.IMPROVEMENT
We have updated our calendar event invitations to always display your organization’s name as the event organizer, regardless of custom branding settings. This improvement ensures that the correct organizer name appears in calendar entries, enhancing clarity and professionalism in your event-related communications.NEW FEATURE
We’re upgrading your user management by displaying the last activity date for each user. This functionality is embedded within the organization scope and provides admins with a better overview if there are issues with people’s access (or activity) on the platform.NEW FEATURE
We are excited to introduce custom event categories to enhance the way companies organize and filter their training events. Similar to our learning paths, this new feature allows organizations to now use the same categories for events, providing a tailored structure for classifying events by topics or other relevant criteria. This empowers companies with an improved internal overview and provides learners with enhanced filtering options when searching for suitable training measures.âś… New Review Workflow for Publishing Learning Paths NEW FEATURE
To better support decentralized content creation while keeping quality high, we’re introducing a new review and approval flow for learning paths. When many subject-matter experts contribute content, the number of learning paths can grow quickly – and L&D teams asked for a way to stay in control as a “quality gate”. With this update, you can now set up the exact rights and processes that work for your organization:
Refined author permissions The “Author” role previously had the powerful ability to publish content directly to the entire organization. Going forward, this is limited: Authors now need someone with publication rights to approve their learning paths before they go live – typically Curating Admins or Owners. For a detailed overview of changes happening, see this page (in German):
Übersicht: Änderungen der Rollen-Bezeichnungen & Rechte (Dezember 2025)
New publication approval process If a user (e.g. an Author) cannot or should not publish directly (for example, because you’ve defined an internal four-eyes principle), they can now submit a “publication request” for a learning path. This request can be sent to one or more users with publication rights (Owners or Curating Admins, usually from the L&D team). They receive the request via email and in-app notification, can review the learning path, and then either reject it or publish it directly – optionally with a short comment such as “please double-check material XYZ, something looks off here”.
This way, you keep the benefits of distributed content creation while ensuring every learning path meets your quality standards before it’s published.
